The Olympus BF-UC180F is a linear ultrasound bronchoscope designed for advanced Endobronchial Ultrasound-guided Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (EBUS-TBNA). It is primarily used for staging mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes in patients with suspected lung cancer, providing real-time imaging to guide precise tissue sampling.

Enhanced Diagnostic Yield: Clinical studies have demonstrated higher sensitivity and specificity in detecting lymph nodes ≥5 mm, aiding in accurate diagnosis and staging.

Real-Time Imaging: High-resolution ultrasound imaging allows direct visualization of the EBUS-TBNA needle as it penetrates the lymph node, facilitating optimal capsule-to-capsule technique.

Improved Access: The uniquely designed shorter distal rigid tip enables better approach to challenging nodal stations such as 4L and 10R.

Larger Instrument Channel: The 2.2 mm working channel accommodates larger needles and accessories, enhancing procedural flexibility.
