Vanadium-Nitrogen Alloy Additive Save 20-40% vanadium
Vanadium nitrogen alloy is a new alloy additive, which replaces ferrovanadium in the production of microalloyed steel. It can improve the strength, toughness, ductility, thermal fatigue resistance and other comprehensive mechanical properties of the steel, and make the steel have good weldability. At the same strength, adding vanadium nitride saves 20-40% of vanadium.
Vanadium nitrogen alloys can be used in structural steel, tool steel, pipeline steel, steel bars, and cast iron. The application of vanadium nitrogen alloy in high-strength low alloy steel can effectively simultaneously carry out vanadium and nitrogen microalloying, promote the precipitation of carbon, vanadium, and nitrogen compounds in the steel, and more effectively play the role of precipitation strengthening and grain refinement.
