Performance and purpose:
This product is an aluminum boron intermediate alloy with a boron content of 2.5-3.5%. It is used for boron element addition or grain refinement in aluminum alloy melting, with low addition temperature and low boron element loss.
This product generates a large number of dispersed AlB2 high melting point particles in the aluminum liquid, which act as external crystal nuclei during solidification to refine the grain structure, thereby improving the strength and plasticity of aluminum or castings, and improving comprehensive mechanical properties.
Aluminum for electrical purposes can improve its conductivity.
Usage:
1. Bake and dry before use.
2. Addition temperature: above 700 ℃.
3. The amount of this product added: 0.1-0.5% or determined according to the experiment.
4. Method of addition: Remove the scum, gently pour the product into the aluminum liquid, stir evenly, and let it stand for 5-10 minutes.
Packaging and storage:
This product is in block shape with a metallic luster, 250g/block, and the outer packaging is cardboard box, 25 ± 0.25kg/box. Store in a well ventilated and dry place, moisture-proof.
