In order to meet the increasing demands for higher quality oil products, hydrorefining catalyst is being used widely at each trade. We produce the hydrorefining catalyst SAL-128, which prepared by impregnation. The catalyst has Ni-Mo as the active ingredient on the carrier of the modified sulfuric acidγ-Al2O3. It has more II active central positions and higher activity of hydrodesulfurization for DMDBT and other sulfides to remove sulfur difficultly.
The main reactions are as follows:
COS+H2→ CO+H2S CS2+4H2→ CH4+2H2S
C2H5SH+H2→ C2H6+H2S CH3SCH3+2H2→ 2CH4+H2S
C4H4S+4H2→ C4H10+H2S CnH2n+H2→ CnH2n+2
2H2→ 2H2O
Industrial Applications
The catalyst is suitable for the hydrorefining of coked diesel, straight-run diesel, catalytic diesel, coked gasoline and other mixed oils.
