Product Introduction

Performance and purpose: This product is suitable for adding or adjusting the content of silicon (Si) element in aluminum alloys to replace aluminum silicon intermediate alloys. This product contains over 95% silicon and can be directly added to the melt at normal melting temperature. It melts quickly (usually about 30 minutes) and is easy to use. The actual yield of silicon is greater than 90%.

Usage method

1. Addition temperature: 740 ℃

Note: Due to differences in metallurgical conditions between users and heats, the actual yield and added amount should be calculated and determined based on the pre furnace assay data.

Joining method

After all the furnace materials are melted, stir thoroughly and evenly, and take samples for analysis. Calculate the addition amount of rapid melting silicon based on the analysis results. When the aluminum liquid reaches the temperature, remove the surface scum of the aluminum liquid, and evenly and dispersedly pour the product into various parts of the molten pool (do not stir at this time). After the reaction is complete, let it stand for 15-20 minutes, then stir thoroughly for 5 minutes, and let it stand for 10-20 minutes for sampling and analysis. After the ingredients are qualified, they can be transferred to the next process.
