Certification introduction
BICMA is the Bhutan Information Communications and Media Authority. BICMA is a unified regulatory agency responsible for the supervision of the information, communications and media sectors in Bhutan. All communication equipment entering Bhutan requires BICMA certification for imported technology licenses. BICMA certification is a mandatory certification requirement. It does not require local testing and requires a local agent. The certificate is valid for a long time as long as the regulations remain unchanged.
