Requirement/Limits:

Packaging shall indicate its identification and classification concerned the nature of the packaging material(s).

Packaging shall bear the appropriate marking either on the packaging itself or on the label. The marking shall be clearly visible, easily legible and appropriately durable and lasting, including when the packaging is opened.

Report the presence of the marking only.

NOTE: It is the vendor's responsibility to ensure the following:
1) the numbering and abbreviation of materials are marked according to 97/129/EC, and
2) the marking shall be clearly visible, easily legible and appropriately durable and lasting, including when the packaging is opened.
