Requirement/Limits:

A consistent labeling method (labeling standards) has been established for designated goods. Specifically, the standards consist of particulars to be indicated, such as components,
performance, usage, precautions in handling (labeling matters), and rules for labeling (compliance matters) for each item. See below for detail of the requirements:

Product Scope:

Textile goods, plastic goods, electrical appliances and apparatus, and miscellaneous manufactured goods - those which are difficult for consumers to evaluate and identify in terms of quality at the time of purchase, particularly those with a strong need for quality identification - have been designated “Order for Enforcement of Household Goods Quality Labeling Act”.
