Project Introduction
The friction tester uses a special paper tape as the friction medium and applies a fixed load to the friction head. The friction head drives the rotating paper tape through a roller with a fixed diameter and a constant speed motor to continuously apply force to the sample surface until the surface substrate is seen or a specific degree of wear is reached. The number of motor revolutions displayed by the counter is used to evaluate the sample's friction resistance.
Application Scope
The paper tape abrasion tester is suitable for abrasion tests of various surface coatings (electroplating, baking varnish, silk screen printing, etc.). After rolling unoiled paper or tape and rubbing it against the sample, the effect of wear is determined at a certain number of rotations.
