GB/T 18488-2024 Official Implementation of Drive Motor System for Electric Vehicles

National standard GB/T 18488-2024 "Drive Motor System for Electric Vehicles" was officially implemented recently

On May 28, 2024, the recommended national standard GB/T 18488-2024 "Drive Motor System for Electric Vehicles" approved and issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standardization Administration) was officially implemented, replacing GB/T 18488.1-2015 "Drive Motor System for Electric Vehicles Part 1: Technical Conditions" and GB/T 18488.2-2015 "Drive Motor System for Electric Vehicles Part 2: Test Methods".

Scope of application
Electric vehicle motor drive system, drive motor and drive motor controller;
Vehicle motors and their controllers with only power generation function shall refer to this document for implementation.
