Function in Coating:
CMC contains hydroxyl macromolecule chains that can hydrate with water and intertwine with each other, thereby increasing the viscosity of the water phase. It has excellent compatibility in water or in organic solvents, as well as with pigments. It can also significantly improve viscosity and rheology. As a thickener, dispersant, and stabilizer in the coating industry, when CMC is applied in water-soluble coatings, the following effects will be shown:
