The laryngeal mask is used for general anesthesia surgery, and the breathing channel to ensure the patient's breathing. The laryngeal mask can close the laryngopharyngeal cavity and the laryngeal cavity. There is a breathing channel in the center of the laryngeal mask that directly communicates with the larynx cavity, and the distal end is connected to a ventilator to maintain the patient's breathing. The laryngeal mask is not inserted into the trachea through the larynx like the tracheal intubation.
