Planetary reducer gears are the key components of planetary reducers. They achieve power reduction, torque increase and direction change through complex gear transmission mechanisms.

Planetary reducer gear working principle:
The drive source starts the solar gear in a directly connected manner, and the solar gear will be combined with the planetary gear on the planetary gear frame to pull the operation. The whole planetary gear system automatically runs and rotates around the outer gear ring, and the planetary frame is connected to the output shaft to achieve the purpose of acceleration. Higher reduction ratios are accumulated by multiple sets of stage gears and planetary gears.
When the planetary gear reducer is driven, there are six contact surfaces between the solar teeth, planetary teeth and inner ring teeth to balance the load, and the impact load is evenly distributed 360 degrees depending on the trajectory of the inner teeth, which can effectively reduce the friction of the gear and make the gear without the risk of breaking.
Planetary gear floating movement, the period gap is quite close, each deceleration between the stage teeth only need to be connected, so its volume is relatively reduced, the highest efficiency can reach 97%.
3 types of gears in planetary reducers
1. Sun gear:
- Position: The axis position is fixed.
- Function: As the input gear of the planetary reducer, it is driven to rotate by the input end servo motor through the input shaft.
- Features: It is the central gear in the planetary gear system, and other gears rotate around it.
2. Planetary gear:
- Position: Combined in the planetary carrier.
- Function: It rotates and revolves around the sun gear, hence the name planetary gear. They carry the torque power transmitted by the sun gear, and transmit the power to the shaft through the planetary carrier, and then to other gears.
- Features: The design of planetary gears enables the reducer to achieve efficient deceleration and torque transmission.
3. Inner ring gear (inner gear ring):
- Position: Located on the inner wall of the reducer housing, it serves as the motion trajectory of the planetary gear revolving around the sun gear.
- Function: Engage with one side of the planetary gear to transmit power together.
- Features: The inner gear ring is fixed and provides a stable motion trajectory for the planetary gear
