Product Description
Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) is a colorless, almost tasteless, non-conductive gas at room temperature and pressure, its density is about 6 times that of the air; It is a colorless and transparent liquid under its own pressure, non-combustible, non-corrosive, with good thermal and chemical stability.
Because of its high fire extinguishing efficiency, low toxicity, non-destructive to the ozone layer, and non-polluting to the use site, it is considered an ideal substitute for Halon 1301 and has been included in the NFPA 2001 standard for fire extinguishing supplies by the National Fire Protection Association. In addition, heptafluoropropane is also used as a refrigerant and medical spraying agent.
