301 Stainless Steel Solid Round Bar
Material 1.4310 can still be easily formed despite the higher yield point compared to material 1.4301. The tarnishing or scale layers that occur during heat treatment or welding impair the corrosion resistance. Due to the tendency of the material to strain hardening and the relatively low thermal conductivity, machining must be carried out with tools made of high-quality tool steel or hard metal alloys. Material 1.4310 can be polished. By the way, 301 is similar to 304, but is slightly magnetic.
