Working Principle of Stand Up Electric Reach Forklift

The gantry or fork carrier of the reach truck can move back and forth, in which the gantry reach truck means the gantry drives the fork to move forward during operation, extends beyond the front wheels to pick up or put down the goods, and the fork retracts with the goods to make the centre of gravity of the goods in the support plane when walking; while the fork reach truck means the rack drives the fork to move forward to beyond the front wheels to carry out the operation, and the fork carrier drives the fork to retract into the support plane when walking. Forward-moving forklift trucks have two forward-extending outriggers, which are higher and have two wheels at the front end of the outriggers, and the function of the outriggers is to ensure the stability of the forklift trucks when they are loaded. Comparing with the plug-in forklift truck, the front wheels are bigger and the outriggers are higher, the outriggers can not be inserted into the bottom of the goods during operation, while the gantry can move along the track on the inside of the outriggers with the whole lifting mechanism, so that the forks can be retracted after taking the goods and lifting them up a little bit, which can ensure the stability of the forklift truck when it is in operation. The gantry of the reach truck can move forward along the track on the inner side of the outrigger, which is convenient for picking up the goods. After picking up the goods, the gantry rises to a certain height, and the gantry can return to the original position along the inner track of the outriggers, so that the centre of gravity of the goods is in the front and rear support legs of the vehicle, and therefore the stability is very good. It is suitable for operation in workshop and warehouse. 
The gantry of the forklift truck can move forward with the lifting mechanism along the track on the inside of the outrigger, which is convenient for picking up the goods. After picking up the goods, after lifting up a small height, the gantry returns to its original position along the track on the inner side of the outrigger.
