Side view camera
Installation position : The side front view is generally installed at the B - pillar or vehicle rearview mirror  while the side rear view is generally installed at the front fender of the vehicle  .
Side front view camera : The field of view angle of this camera is generally 90 ° -100 °  and the detection distance is about 80 meters . The main function of this camera is to detect lateral vehicles and bicycles .
Side and rear view camera : The field of view angle of this camera is generally around 90 °  and the detection distance is also around 80 meters . It is mainly used for scene applications such as vehicle lane changing and merging into other roads .

Installation position : Generally installed on the trunk or rear windshield
Rear view camera : mainly used for parking assistance . The field of view angle is between 120 and 140 degrees   and the detection distance is approximately 50 meters .

The car mounted camera mainly consists of an optical lens   an image sensor  an image signal processor (ISP)   a serializer   and a connector .
The working principle of a camera is that external light is irradiated on an object   reflected and refracted   and then projected onto an image sensor through an optical lens (Lens) . The photoelectric device of the sensor converts the light signal into an electrical signal   which is then processed by an image signal processor (ISP) to output image signals in RGB   YUV   and other formats .
