Kickflip:

Start with your feet in the ollie position, with your back foot on the tail and your front foot angled diagonally across the board.

As you pop and slide your front foot for an ollie, flick the side of your front foot off the edge of the nose towards the heel side of the board.

Simultaneously, use your back foot to scoop and kick the tail down and away from you, adding the necessary flip to the board.

As the board flips, keep your eyes focused on it and prepare to catch it with your front foot.

Once the board completes the flip, extend your front foot and aim to catch the board with the top part of your front foot, just above the bolts.

As you catch the board, bring your back foot up and prepare to land.

Heelflip:

Start with your feet in the ollie position, with your back foot on the tail and your front foot angled diagonally across the board, toes hanging off the edge on the heel side.

As you pop and slide your front foot for an ollie, use the side of your front foot to flick off the edge of the nose towards the toe side of the board.

Simultaneously, use your back foot to scoop and kick the tail down and away from you, adding the necessary flip to the board.

Keep your eyes focused on the board as it flips and prepare to catch it with your back foot.

Once the board completes the flip, bring your back foot up and aim to catch the board with the heel side of your back foot.

As you catch the board, extend your front foot and prepare to land.Remember, mastering flipping techniques takes time, practice, and patience. It's important to have a solid foundation in ollies and good board control before attempting these tricks. Start by practicing on flat ground and gradually progress to attempting them while moving. Break down the tricks into smaller steps and focus on mastering each step before moving on to the next. Don't get discouraged if it takes time to land the trick consistently.
