Benefits of Amino Acid Chelated Magnesium in Animal Feed
-
Bone and Muscle Health: Magnesium plays a critical role in bone development and muscle function.
-
-
Stress Reduction: Adequate magnesium levels can help reduce stress and improve overall animal welfare.
-
-
Improved Performance: In livestock and poultry, proper magnesium levels support growth, feed efficiency, and productivity.
-
Recommended Inclusion Rates
The inclusion rate of amino acid chelated magnesium depends on the species, age, and production stage of the animal. Typical dietary magnesium requirements are:
-
Poultry: 0.15–0.20% of the diet.
-
Swine: 0.04–0.08% of the diet.
-
Always consult a nutritionist or follow species-specific guidelines to determine the appropriate dosage.
-
Ruminants: 0.10–0.20% of the diet.
-
Aquaculture: 0.05–0.10% of the diet.
Applications in Animal Feed

Poultry:
-
Supports eggshell quality in laying hens.
-
Promotes growth and muscle development in broilers.
-
-
-
Swine:
-
Enhances growth performance and feed efficiency.
-
Supports skeletal development in piglets.
-
-
-
Ruminants:
-
Prevents magnesium deficiency (e.g., grass tetany in cattle).
-
Supports milk production in dairy cows.
-
-
-
