BAIHU VTOL UAV Drone Tandem Wing Take Off Weight 90kg Payload 25kg
BAIHU VTOL UAV — Heavy-Lift Tandem Wing Hybrid Drone
Application: Baihu is a kind of tail thrust tandem wing VTOL drone. The fuselage ismade of carbon fiber composite material, which is of high strength and light weight. Baihuhas the advantages in large scale surveying and mapping tasks with heavy and preciseinstruments;
Desian method: Combine aerodynamics and aesthetics with the structure of sweepforward & positive-dihedral front wings and arc dihedral rear wings. Baihu adopts a liftingblended-wing-body structure. There is no surplus piece to generate unnecessary aerodynamic resistance;
Advantages: There is a large cabin for varieties of payload. The maximum payloadweight can reach 25kg. There are brackets in the fuselage, which is convenient for equip-ment installation. The modular power system desian making the tail power cabin can beequipped with engine or motor. Baihu’s taking off weight is 85kg, however, it takes lessthan 10 minutes to assemble the drone because of the plug-in structure between thefuselage and the wings.

Key Features
- Hybrid VTOL Design: Combines the vertical take-off capabilities of a multirotor with the efficient long-range cruise of a fixed-wing.
- Tandem Wing Configuration: Reduced drag and improved lift with a front swept wing and a curved rear wing.
- Large Internal Payload Bay: Easily accommodates photogrammetry cameras, infrared sensors, LiDAR, or communication modules.

FAQ
What is the take-off and landing mode of the BAIHU UAV?
BAIHU uses a hybrid VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) system. It takes off and lands vertically like a multirotor, then transitions to fixed-wing mode for efficient cruise
What is the payload capacity?
The maximum payload capacity is 25 kg. It supports various equipment such as EO/IR cameras, LiDAR, mapping modules, or communication payloads.
How long is the endurance under full load?
Under a payload of 20 kg, the drone can fly up to 8 hours. The endurance may vary depending on the engine type, weather conditions, and flight profile.
What material is used in the airframe?
The airframe is made of high-strength carbon fiber composite, offering lightweight structure with excellent rigidity and durability.
