The BOIGEVIS High Quality Camshaft Position Sensor (OE No. 95560610600 / 955 606 106 00) is a Hall-effect engine cam sensor shared across the VAG and Porsche parts network, originally issued under the Porsche 955 prefix and cross-listed for Audi, Volkswagen and other VAG 3.2L VR6 / 3.6L V6 / W12 applications.
It covers Audi A3 8P 3.2 V6, TT 8N 3.2 V6, A6 C6 3.2 V6, Q7 3.6 V6, A8 D3 W12, plus VW Touareg 3.2 V6, R32, Passat 3.6, CC 3.6 and Porsche Cayenne 9PA 3.2 V6 (2004–2006). The sensor reads cam timing and feeds the ECU for fuel injection and ignition sync, clearing P0340 / P0341 / P0342 faults, hard cold starts, rough idle, stalling and limp-mode operation when the original unit drifts or loses signal.
