Product Description:
The drill float valve produced and sold by our company Huichi Petro is a type of check valve. It is a blowout prevention tool installed in the drill string near the drill bit. The float valve consists of a drill conversion joint and a float valve core, and is connected to the drill string through a float valve housing. The float valve core assembly can also be installed in the float valve groove of the drill collar or in the float valve groove of the drill stabilizer. The float valve is a blowout prevention tool in the drill tool and is one of the essential tools for oil drilling. Its main function is to prevent mud from bringing in drill cuttings and sediment backflow, blocking the drill bit water hole, so that the mud can only flow from top to bottom in the drill tool. When a blowout or well kick occurs, the pressure at the bottom of the float valve is greater than the pressure of the upper liquid column, and the float valve cover automatically closes the water hole, so that the formation fluid cannot enter the upper part of the float valve in the drill tool, preventing overflow and well kick in the drill tool.
The float valve consists of a float valve core and a body, in which the float valve core is composed of a valve body, a sealing ring, a valve seat, a valve cover, a spring, and a pin.
The float valve joint structure is divided into two types: plate-type float valve joint and arrow-type float valve joint.
