Product Description:
The drill collar produced and sold by our company Huichi Petro is a more important component of the drill string. It has the function of providing drilling pressure to the drill bit and improving the rigidity of the drill string.
Drill collars mainly play the following roles in the drilling process:
(1) Apply drilling pressure to the drill bit;
(2) Ensure the necessary strength under compression conditions;
(3) Reduce the vibration, swing, and jump of the drill bit, so that the drill bit works smoothly;
(4) Control the well inclination.
We supply slick drill collars, spiral drill collars and non-magnetic drill collars; their sizes are from 3-1/8 to 11 inches. Besides the drill collars in the table below, we can supply other drill collars at customers' request. The non-magnetic Drill Collar of Huichi Petro is made from high-class low carbon stainless steel, and completely meets the requirement of API Spec 7-1 and SY/T5144 Standard. It has good low magnetic permeability, high mechanical property and perfect enduring intergranular corrosion cracking performance. It is mainly used for the inspection in the process of petroleum drilling, and the structure is the same with the ordinary drill collar.A hardness range of 285-341, Brinell Hardness and Charpy "V" notch minimum impact strength of 40 ft-lb at 70 F are guaranteed one inch below the surface.

1.Our company offers steel, cast steel and plastic steel thread protectors for its drill stem products；
2. Widely used in oil, gas, HDD and geothermal field；
3. Connections as phosphate coated father machining to protect the threads from corrosive elements and to prevent galling upon initial make -up. Thread roots are cold rolled on API and H0-90 connections；
4.All connections are phosphate-coated or copper plated to improve resistance to corrosion；
5.We inspect all our drill collars to ensure compliance with API SPEC 7-1 standards. These inspections include visual dimensional checks as well as ultrasonic inspections over the entire body of the drill collar.
