Product Overview:

Hydrocyclone is the core separation equipment of the oilfield drilling solid control system. It can efficiently remove ultrafine solid particles (such as cuttings, sand particles, etc.) in the drilling fluid based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to achieve fine purification of the mud. Through pressure feeding, the hydrocyclone can consume less power, achieve large processing capacity and high classification efficiency of solid-liquid separation, and provide clean and stable drilling fluid for drilling operations.

Working Principle:

The working principle of the hydrocyclone produced and sold by our company Huichi petro is mainly centrifugal sedimentation. When the drilling fluid to be separated enters the cyclone from the tangential direction of the cyclone feed port at a certain pressure, a strong rotational motion is generated. During the rotation process, particles of different particle sizes and densities produce different motion trajectories. Coarse particles are thrown to the wall of the device due to the large inertial centrifugal force, and gradually flow downward and are discharged from the bottom to become sediment; fine particles move to the wall at a low speed, and are driven by the liquid flowing toward the center to flow out of the central overflow pipe, becoming overflow, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.

• Adopting a multi-cone composite structure design, the separation particle size reaches 5-200μm, and the sand removal/mud removal efficiency is >90%.
• The single machine has a processing capacity of 50-500m³/h, which can be connected in parallel to cope with large-displacement operations and is suitable for high-density mud conditions.

2. Pressure-resistant and wear-resistant long-term operation

• The inner lining is made of high-purity alumina ceramic/polyurethane material, with a hardness of ≥Hv1200, and the erosion resistance life is increased by 4 times.
• No moving parts, which reduces failures caused by mechanical wear, stable and reliable operation, and low maintenance costs.

3. Intelligent working condition adaptation

• Optional built-in pressure sensor interface, real-time monitoring of feed pressure and bottom flow density, and automatic optimization of separation efficiency.
• Optional electric adjustment of bottom flow nozzle, remote control of sand discharge diameter, and accurate matching of formation lithology changes.
