Description
The cast stainless steel sculpture titled "Reflecting" was showcased at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe in 2021. It's a life-sized custom-made stainless steel statue of a girl, standing 160cm tall, which makes it similar to a real human size and attracts many people to take selfies with it. Designed by an Australian artist, this mirror-polished stainless steel cast figure sculpture is made of two materials: stainless steel is used for the part below the neck, and bronze is used from the head to the neck. It's created using traditional casting techniques, with the stainless steel part having a mirror-polished finish and the bronze part featuring a patina finish.
