• 4-Cylinder, Inline Diesel
• Displacement: 2.5L (3KB1 engine family)

1. Disconnect battery negative cable
2. Remove the engine cover if necessary
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old glow plug
4. Use a deep socket to remove the old glow plug (apply penetrating oil if seized)
5. Clean the threads in the cylinder head using a thread chaser (do not use tap)
6. Apply a small amount of anti-seize to the threads of the new glow plug (avoid getting on tip)
7. Hand-thread the new glow plug, then torque to specification (typically 15-25 Nm). Do not overtighten
8. Reconnect the electrical connector
9. Repeat for all cylinders
10. Reconnect battery
11. Turn ignition to pre-heat position and check for proper function. Start engine and verify smooth idle
