Installation Notes
- Safely lift and support vehicle - remove front wheels and brake components
- Remove steering knuckle - disconnect tie rod, drag link, and steering arm
- Press out old king pins - use a hydraulic press
- Inspect axle beam bores - check for ovality or damage
- Install new bushings - press into axle beam ensuring oil holes align
- Ream bushings to size (if required) - achieve correct king pin clearance
- Lubrie king pin - apply high-quality chassis grease
- Assemble thrust bearing - place as per OE orientation
- Insert king pin - tap into place using brass drift
- Check end play - measure vertical movement and adjust with shims if necessary
- Reassemble steering knuckle, seals, caps
- Grease thoroughly - pump grease until fresh grease appears from all seals
- Reinstall wheels and brake components - torque all fasteners
- Road test - check for smooth steering and re-torque after 500 km
