Installation Notes

Installation steps (overview):

1. Remove transmission – as per clutch replacement procedure.

2. Remove old release bearing – unclip from the clutch fork or slide off the input shaft sleeve.

3. Inspect the clutch fork and input shaft sleeve – clean and lubrie contact points with high-temperature grease (small amount).

4. Install new release bearing – clip onto the fork or slide onto the sleeve (depending on design). Ensure it moves freely.

5. Reinstall transmission – align input shaft with clutch disc splines using alignment tool.

6. Adjust clutch pedal free play (if cable-operated) or bleed hydraulic system (if hydraulic).

7. Test drive – listen for bearing noise and check smooth clutch engagement.
