The CQ800 semi-automatic PET strap winder is available with 1 or 2 mandrels. The two-mandrel version allows the operator to pre-load an empty core on the second mandrel while the first mandrel is winding. When winding is complete, a quick manual swap can be performed - fast manual bobbin change - dramatically reducing idle time. Each mandrel is equipped with a pneumatic mandrel for core mounting/unmounting in seconds. The dual-mandrel design is especially beneficial for frequent change-over scenarios (small coils or multiple specifications), increasing overall productivity in semi-automatic mode by 30-50%.
