Precise and stable temperature control is fundamental to ensuring uniform plasticization and stable extrusion of PP material. This extruder features 9 independent cast aluminum heaters (6 zones on the barrel, 3 zones on the die head) paired with 6 centrifugal cooling fans, forming a fully automatic closed-loop PID temperature control system.
The system monitors each zone in real-time, automatically adjusting heating or cooling to keep deviations within ±1°C, ensuring uniform melt temperature. 9-zone independent control allows setting a temperature gradient along the screw length: lower in the feed zone, gradually increasing in the compression and metering zones, and constant in the die head.
This fine temperature control capability effectively avoids quality issues such as poor plasticization, gels, and uneven thickness caused by temperature fluctuations, laying the foundation for high-precision, high-stability extrusion production.
