3LPE Pipeline Corrosion Protective Field Girth Welding Coating Wraparound Heat Shrinkable Sleeve
PE-Backed Heat-Shrinkable Sleeve (HSS)
Composition
- Layers: Radiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and heat melt adhesive.
Application
- Forms a three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating (3LPE) with a solvent-free epoxy primer, protecting steel pipe weld joints.
Installation Steps
- Apply epoxy primer to the pipe surface.
- Wrap the heat-shrinkable sleeve around the joint.
- Apply heat to shrink the sleeve for a tight fit.
- Allow epoxy to cure, forming strong bonds.
