HDPE Electro Fusion Tape 60mm to 80mm for Corrugated Pipe Joints

Polyethylene Electro Heating Fusion Tape is a specialized pipe connection fitting designed for reliable jointing of metal reinforced polyethylene spirally corrugated pipes, hollow wall structured HDPE pipes, and directly buried PUF pre-insulated pipes.
It is manufactured from HDPE sheets embedded with electro-fusion wires, ensuring strong bonding performance, excellent sealing, and long-term durability in underground pipeline applications, especially in anti-corrosion and pre-insulated pipe field joints.

Tailored for corrugated pipe structure with valley width from 60mm to 80mm; the narrow tape welds the pipe joint along the cutting edges.

Due to structure limitations, air-tightness may not be fully guaranteed after single-step welding.

Recommended welding method:

First, use a hand extruder to weld the cutting edges inside of the pipe.

Then, apply the narrow electro fusion tape to reinforce the joint from outside.

Resists axial forces caused by ground movements.

Withstands radial forces and bending moments.

High resistance to temperature changes and thermal stress.

Matches the thickness of the main pipe insulation layer, ensuring seamless integration.
