Automatic 3PE Anti-Corrosion Coating Line with PLC Control, Induction Heating, and Three Protective Layers for Steel Pipes
The 3PE Bend Pipe Coating Equipment is a specialized production line designed for applying high-performance three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion coatings to hot bending pipes. It integrates shot blasting, heating, coating, and cooling processes to achieve a uniform, durable, and tightly bonded coating—enhancing both the surface and internal quality of the pipe.
This equipment is widely used in oil & gas, water supply, and industrial pipeline systems where high corrosion resistance and coating reliability are essential.
The shot blasting and rust removal system efficiently removes rust, scale, and welding slag from hot bending pipes, structural parts, and section steel components. It also eliminates welding stress and improves fatigue strength, laying the foundation for strong coating adhesion.
The line applies three protective layers:
- Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE): Chemical and cathodic disbondment resistance
- Adhesive Layer: Ensures firm bonding between FBE and polyethylene
- Polyethylene (PE): Excellent physical protection against abrasion, impact, and moisture
From pipe loading to final coating and cooling, the system ensures continuous, automated operation, delivering high production efficiency and consistent coating quality.
