Description:
Caliper step gauge is specially used to calibrate calipers and height gauges, which is composed of a series of measuring
surfaces,caliper step gauges are usually arranged in a straight line by precision gauge blocks and are held in a sturdy frame
with a protective surface that is sprayed or plated. This design allows it to remain stable in a variety of environments,
reducing errors.The gauge blocks can be made of stainless steel or ceramic.The ceramic is mostly being chosen since it’s easy
to wear and tear,and the deformation with temperature changes is minimal and last longer.

Precautions:
1. Clean the surface with a clean soft cloth or special wiping paper before and after use to avoid dust,
oil and other impurities affecting the measurement results.
2. Measurement of the gauge block is extremely high precision, the use of the process should be gently held,
avoid collision or drop, so as not to cause deformation or damage to the gauge.
3. When using the step gauge, make sure that the measuring surface of the caliper is in full contact with the step surface
of the gauge and avoid tilting or applying excessive force.
4. The measuring surface of the gauge is easily contaminated by hand sweat, grease, etc. It is recommended to wear gloves
or use a special tool to pick it up when using it.
5. To ensure the accuracy of the step gauge, regular calibration and maintenance is recommended.
