Vison Chemicals manufactures SS316L jacketed polymerization reactors for the batch synthesis of urea formaldehyde (UF) resin, the highest-volume wood adhesive resin in the panel board industry. UF resin bonds particle board, medium density fiberboard (MDF) and plywood, and also serves paper impregnation and foundry core binders. Each urea formaldehyde resin reactor is engineered for the acid-catalyzed condensation of urea and formaldehyde into a thermosetting adhesive with controlled solids, viscosity and curing speed.
