BA Finish Stainless Steel 316 Coil has a very shiny and bright surface and is known for its aesthetic appeal and is the best corrosion-resistant material for stainless steel plates for elevator decoration, furniture decoration, industrial building decoration.
Features:
The main difference between the low carbon and high carbon versions of SS 316 stainless steel coils is their carbon content, which results in different properties.
Low carb version:
316L stainless steel coil, which has a lower carbon content than standard 316 stainless steel. This low carbon content helps prevent sensitization, the formation of carbide precipitation at grain boundaries, which can adversely affect the material's corrosion resistance. Therefore, when maximum corrosion resistance is required, especially in environments exposed to chlorides, the low-carbon material 316L stainless steel coil is preferred and is therefore often used for large welded components.
The high-carbon version of SS 316 stainless steel contains more carbon than the standard 316 grade. This increased carbon content can increase the strength and hardness of the material, but may also reduce its corrosion resistance. High carbon stainless steel coils are generally not recommended for applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance.
In terms of application, low-carbon 316L stainless steel coil is very suitable for high-temperature environments due to its high melting point. They are commonly used in a variety of industries, including food preparation equipment (due to their food safety rating), marine fittings, springs, threaded fasteners, and more. On the other hand, higher carbon versions may find applications where increased strength and stiffness are required, but corrosion resistance is not a primary concern.

Surface treatment:
No.1
Polished with #100-#200 abrasive belt, it has good brightness and discontinuous rough lines. It can be used as interior and exterior decoration parts for buildings, electrical appliances, kitchen utensils, etc.
2B
The surface brightness and smoothness of no2B is better than that of no2D. Through special surface treatment to improve its mechanical properties, No2B can almost meet the comprehensive purpose.
BA
Cold rolled, bright annealed, smoothed, the products have excellent brightness and good reflectivity, such as mirrors, kitchen utensils, decorations, etc.
No 4
Use #150-#180 abrasive belt for polishing. It has better brightness and discontinuous rough lines, but is finer than No.3. It is used for bathtubs, interior and exterior decorations of buildings, electrical appliances, kitchen utensils, food processing equipment, etc.
HL
The No. 4 topcoat is polished with #150-#320 abrasive belt and has continuous stripes. It is mainly used for architectural decoration elevators, building doors, door panels, etc.
