201 stainless steel plate is an austenitic stainless steel material that uses manganese and nitrogen instead of nickel.
Composition characteristics
The main chemical components include carbon (C) ≤ 0.15, silicon (Si) ≤ 0.75, manganese (Mn) 5.5 - 7.50, chromium (Cr) 16.0 - 18.0, nitrogen (N) ≤ 0.25, nickel (Ni) 3.50 - 5.50, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.060, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.030. Manganese and nitrogen replace the more expensive nickel element to a certain extent, reducing production costs, but also making its performance different from stainless steel with a higher nickel content.

Corrosion resistance:
201 stainless steel plate has certain acid and alkali resistance, and can maintain good stability in relatively mild corrosive environments, such as atmosphere, water, and some common chemicals. However, compared with high-quality stainless steel such as 304, its corrosion resistance is relatively weak, especially in some strong corrosive media or harsh environments, rust and corrosion may occur.
 
High density:
The material density is high, which makes it have a larger mass under the same volume and a denser structure.
 
Processing performance:
It has good processing performance and can be made into products of different shapes and specifications through various processing methods such as cold rolling, hot rolling, stretching, bending, and stamping to meet various application requirements.
