Performance characteristics:

AISI 304:

Performance characteristics: It is a very versatile stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. It is corrosion-resistant in the atmosphere and also has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid), but has poor corrosion resistance in reducing acids (such as hydrochloric acid).

Application areas: Widely used in household items (such as tableware, kitchen utensils), architectural decoration (such as doors and windows, handrails), chemical equipment, food industry (such as food processing machinery, storage tanks), etc.
 

AISI 316:

Performance characteristics: On the basis of 304 stainless steel, molybdenum is added to make it have better corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments and media containing chloride ions. Its high temperature resistance is also better than 304 stainless steel.

Application areas: Commonly used in marine engineering, shipbuilding, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals and other fields with extremely high corrosion resistance requirements, such as manufacturing seawater desalination equipment, offshore platform structural parts, pharmaceutical equipment parts, etc.
 

AISI 430:

Performance characteristics: It is a ferritic stainless steel with good heat resistance and oxidation resistance, but relatively weak corrosion resistance, especially in acidic environments. It has good processing performance and can improve strength through cold processing.

Application areas: Mainly used to make heat-resistant parts, such as parts of automobile exhaust systems (exhaust pipes, mufflers, etc.), heating elements of household appliances (such as heating tubes of electric ovens), etc.
