Structural Components
Main Cable Systems
The main cable is the primary load-bearing component that transmits forces from slings to anchors, piers, and towers. Available in two types:
  • Wire Rope Main Cable: 7-strand construction for smaller span bridges
  • Parallel Wire Bundle Main Cable: Prefabricated parallel steel wire strand (PPWS) method for accelerated construction
Bridge Tower Systems
Bridge towers resist vertical loads and are available in multiple configurations:
