Steel Box Girder Bridge Overview
High stiffness steel box girder bridges are engineered for rapid installation using prefabricated materials. These structures consist of top plate (bridge panel), beam web, bottom plate, longitudinal stiffeners, transverse stiffeners, and diaphragm plates (cross beams).
