The fiber demister and filtration system, also known as "fiber filter" or "candle filter", utilizes proprietary technology to effectively control fog emissions and capture soluble droplets in air streams. With filtration efficiency reaching 99.99% for sub-micron droplets, this system efficiently removes pollutants and harmful substances from industrial gases while enabling recovery of valuable materials from heavy liquids.

The fiber demister consists of tubular fiber bed elements (custom-sized per application), brackets, flanges, outer covers, and pressure vessels. Enclosures are manufactured from various alloys, thermoformed plastics, or fiberglass reinforced plastics, while compressed fiber beds utilize specialized materials including glass, ceramic, polypropylene, Teflon, or polyester.
Operating at gas velocities between 0.08-0.2 m/s, this configuration achieves 94-99.7% efficiency for particles under 1μm and 100% efficiency for particles over 3μm. With resistance ranging 490-1960 Pa, it features thick, compact fiber beds with fine fibers for superior sub-micron capture.
Operating at 2.0-2.5 m/s gas velocity, this design captures 1-3μm particles with approximately 97% efficiency and resistance between 1470-2450 Pa.
