Fiber Demister Filter Overview
The fiber demister, also known as a fiber mist eliminator or fiber bed filter, is engineered to remove fine liquid droplets and mist from gas streams. This critical component ensures efficient separation of entrained liquids from process gases across multiple industrial applications.
Constructed with two concentric screens or parallel flat screens filled with compressed fiber pads, these demisters are custom-designed and manufactured using various alloys, thermoformed plastics, or fiberglass reinforced plastics to meet specific operational requirements.
