Turbocharger is an integral umpart of the ship's marine engine as it reuses the exhaust gases in order to increase the overall efficiency of the engine. It consists of two parts – blower and turbine sides, which need equal attention while carrying out routine maintenance procedures.

From static section view, turbocharger consists of the coprssor housing, bearing housing and turbine housing.

1. Distance between two journal bearings is approx. 60mm;
2. The rotor length is about 300mm;
3. The diameter of turbine inlet is around D140mm;
4. The diameter for compressor outlet is also about D140mm.
