Technology of offset sublimation ink for thermal transfer printing
For our textile printing offset ink sublimation, first printed the ink into the transfer paper, then transfer the ink from
transfer paper into the fabric (under 180-220 degree). It is based on the sublimation characteristic, according to the
requirements of the various design pattern, use the offset machine first transfer the ink into the transfer paper. Then make the
transfer paper (with the pattern) contact with the fabric, under the certain temperature, pressure and transfer time, the ink will
become gas and goes into the fabrics from the transfer paper (such as sports, non-woven bags, garments, handicrafts, add layer
metal, ect.).

Manufacturing Technique
1.The printing process just needs 3 steps
(1) Print the image on paper, and normal paper is ok.
(2) Put the printed paper on substrate, such as polyester and nylon fabric.
(3) Put the paper and fabric on the heat-transfer machine. When the temperature reaches 180-220°C, the image will be transfer
printed from paper onto the substrate.

Sublimation inks are designed to apply a mirror image onto paper for transfer to the
final substrate. The prints are transferred via heat and pressure onto most polyester or
synthetic materials. When first printed onto paper, sublimation inks appear to be
weaker and duller than standard inks, however when transferred onto suitable
substrates, the dyes develop their true color strength and brilliance.

Installation Instructions
Printing Process
1.Printing image on paper,
2.Second put the paper on fabric,and then press the paper with transfer machine.
3. Under the temperature about 190°C-220°C,the ink on paper will become gas and go into fabric.So the image will be from paper to fabric.

4.The temperature of storing the Sublimation Ink had better no more than 30 degree. If
the temperature is high, it will make the sublimation ink damage.
5.The sublimation ink printing on paper, the color will be dim.
However, if you transfer it on the cloth, the color will be very beautiful, very bright. This is very different from the common offset ink.
6.Commonly, our sublimation ink can be used on the machine directly. If you want to make the sublimation ink thin, or thick, you can add the common offset printing addictive. That's also work.
7.The product which printed by the sublimation ink, can be water wash, sun-shine, color not fade. It is depends on the ink and cloth you use. Printing on Nylon, 100% Cloth fabric is ok.
8. Heat transfer: Temperature should be controlled from 195-220 degree, time is 18-30 second.
9. First, you need to print on the paper (blank clean paper), and then heat transfer on the cloth.
10.The paper we suggest you use is 70-110 gsm.
