Vegetable peptone V20 is a kind of enzymatic hydrolyzed Maize Protein that gives comparable growth promoting properties. It is excellent source of vitamins and high quality nitrogen that widely used in culture media for cultivation and other purposes.

It has been tested successffully in alcohol fermentation in brewer industry.

Fermentation performance - both products(vegetable peptone and soy peptone) are of potential interest for use in lower ABV, high purity fermentation systems.
 
Alcohol quality - both slightly inferior to urea and MSG for lower ABV application.

Whitish to yellowish powder, easily soluble in water, easily absorbing moisture with high adhesive performance as a result.

It is rich in the nutrients required for bacterial metabolism. Source of organic nitrogen in culture media for industrial fermentation such as: for production of antibiotic medicine etc.


It is a meat-free alternative to traditional peptones.
