A very often used type of seal for sealing rotating parts - shafts, whose task is to prevent the penetration of lubricant from the working space and at the same time prevent the penetration of dirt from the outside. From a construction point of view, the most common are single-edged designs or versions with a duster. The material is either standard rubber (NBR), silicone rubber or fluoro rubber.

CRW1, CRWA1, CRWH1 and CRWHA1 seals These radial shaft seals are low-friction seals with WAVE lip design for reduced heat generation. They have a metal outside diameter for easy installation and a firm and accurate fit in the housing bore. The seals feature Bore Tite Coating on the outside diameter, a non-hardening, water-based acrylic sealant that helps fill small imperfections in the housing bore. They are primarily designed to retain lubricants but are also suitable for contaminant exclusion, especially the CRWA1 and CRWHA1 seals designed with an auxiliary lip.
