Carbide Button Designs
Semi-Ballistic
A combination design that provides a speed increase over conventional domed buttons while offering higher longevity than more aggressive ballistic carbide designs.
Dome
Tough shape engineered for hard, abrasive rock formations and deep-hole drilling applications. Suitable for nearly all rock drilling operations.
Ballistic
Ideal for less-abrasive sedimentary deposits where drilling speed is critical. Not recommended for badly broken ground or extremely hard rock conditions.
