The female type 2 charging socket is equipped with an IP54-certified cover, which provides protection against dust and against the ingress of water splashing from all sides. When connected, the socket protection is also at the IP54 level. The socket also has a water drain and is ready for 4-point mounting, the end of the screw is wireable.

It is equipped with resistance sensors that can monitor the temperature very accurately. If the temperature rises above a safe limit, the charging power is automatically reduced or completely disconnected.

The charging socket meets all the requirements prescribed by the test and certificate for JDQ 53.3 electronic devices, which guarantees its resistance to vibration, moisture, dust and salt spray. It is equipped with a flammability isolator approved by the UL94 V-0 certificate, which can stop the spread of flame within 10 seconds.

Security and certificates

All sockets are tested to ensure their safety. The protective cover and the socket in the connected state are protected at the IP54 level. The socket meets the international standards SAE J1772. It is certified with CE, TUV and UL 94 for use in the European Union. It is certified for the requirements of JDQ 53.3.

The socket is provided with a standard 12-month warranty.
