PSA Technology Overview
PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Technology represents a revolution in non-cryogenic air separation and oxygen generation. The system uses a special grade of ZMS (Zeolite Molecular Sieve) for preferential adsorption of nitrogen molecules. Compressed air passes through a twin tower PSA module with automatic changeover valves, after drying in a refrigerated dryer. The resulting oxygen gas is sent to a surge vessel where minimum pressure is maintained using a back pressure regulator.
