This refrigerated compressed air dryer operates on the principle of frozen dehumidification. Compressed air is forced through the evaporator for heat exchange and cooling. Gaseous water and oil in the compressed air condense into liquid form below equal pressure, then discharge through the automatic drainage system to deliver clean, dry compressed air.

Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology represents a revolution in non-cryogenic air separation and oxygen generation. The system uses special grade Zeolite Molecular Sieves (ZMS) in twin tower PSA modules with automatic changeover valves.
Compressed air passes through a refrigerated dryer for moisture removal, then contacts the ZMS bed which preferentially adsorbs nitrogen molecules. The resulting oxygen gas is directed to a surge vessel where back pressure regulators maintain optimal operating conditions.
